Invoicery France is the subsidiary of Invoicery Frilans Finans, the Swedish leader in portage salarial since 1999. This group supports more than 70,000 freelancers in 6 European countries: Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands and France. Their aim is to offer the best form of independent work in each country and to enable everyone to undertake their business in complete peace of mind. Interview with Michael Roméo, Country Manager of France.
Which profiles do you target?
We are aimed at all profiles of self-employed workers, junior or senior, providing intellectual services (marketing, IT, HR, consultancy, etc.) or commercial services (services or products: business developers, business managers, property negotiators, etc.). There is no minimum turnover required as we believe in the ability of everyone to become an independent entrepreneur and develop themselves professionally.
What are the strengths of your support?
Our objectives are not to achieve a turnover but rather customer satisfaction. Thus our support is not identical for each client because we have to adapt to each one depending on their profile, their profession, their needs, etc. Our commission is a fixed rate of 8% and does not depend on the client's turnover. There are no hidden costs as with many competitors. Our free-access Wage simulator allows you to get a perfectly anonymous evaluation. In addition to the service, our rates include a certain number of services, such as our RCP (Professional Civil Liability), a financial guarantee, etc., which provide the employee with security. Finally, as the manager of the French branch, I have extensive HR experience, know the subtleties of French social law and have an understanding of working internationally.
Do you have other differentiating criteria in the market?
We are known for our human values, which we implement on a daily basis in our caring support to our independent employees, including support in their daily lives (tax declaration, administrative issues, etc.). Our international work expertise, with several languages spoken, enables us to accompany foreign companies (B2B) and foreign people setting up in France (B2C). Finally, while the portage salarial is already much more secure than other types of status (salary paid at the end of the month, social security coverage, no administrative management), we are unique in offering the added security of client relations by checking the good health of our freelancers's client companies, both in France and abroad: this is a service that I have never seen from our competitors.
What are your development areas?
Portage Salarial has existed since 1988 and is becoming more and more relevant to current work needs. The market is booming in France due to the development of digital jobs and teleworking. In 2023, we therefore want to develop further the solution of portage salarial for companies, in B2B: an interesting solution for those wishing to call upon specific temporary expertise. In addition, as a member of the European Federation of Freelance Workers (FEPS), we continue to be involved in the development of freelance administration laws in France in order to extend it to more professions and freelance workers.
